Job
Had my hopes up very high and all my eggs in one basket for a job that I interviewed for on Friday, only to get let down today. Feel like using. Fortunately I get to pick up my boys from school in an hour and that will definitely help. I will try to write more frequently on here. I have been slacking!

New Day
I can definitely be a crazy person. I almost committed suicide last week. Thanks to good friends and family, I didn't. Today is a much better day. My weaknesses make me stronger. It's beautiful outside today in Utah and that helps. To another new day.

My First Blog
So.... I am new to all this blogging stuff. I usually keep people posted about my life via Facebook or texting but thanks to my amazing sister and mom (they created this for me), I am going to start blogging daily (maybe even hourly) things that come to my mind about my recovery. I had a relapse over the weekend in Las Vegas. I feel terrible for it. The worst thing is that I didn't even go see my sister and her kids. That's my addiction kicking in, especially when I know I am in Vegas. In the back of my mind before I even left for Vegas, I thought that MAYBE I will relapse, but it definitely wasn't my plan. Sure enough, I did. I can only learn from this and try to become a much stronger person. So for my first posting on here, here's to a better life. A sober life. I may, from time to time have relapses. I HOPE I don't, but I will blog about it all on here as my life happens. Feel free to have others follow this blog, especially if you know of anyone struggling with addiction that might be able to use what I blog about to help them. Much love.... especially to Sherry and Mom for setting this up for me.

A New Beginning
Golden,
I started this blog for you to help in your recovery and to help in your new beginning. Let this be a place of refuge from the trial and hard times that will come as you go through this journey to recovery. Writing can be healing and refreshing and a place to reflect on your true feelings and emotions. This also might be a place of healing for many others that you will touch as they recover from their hardships. You are a bright, loving, compassionate brother, son, father and friend and those around you know of your love for your family especially your two amazingly adorable boys, Elijah and Tru. Live your life for your future with them and show them that they will be able to accomplish any goal that they want to in life. Trials build character as dad is always saying and I believe that you are going to come out victorious in this journey to recovery. I am always here for you as are your 6 other brothers and mom and dad. Turn to those that are positive influences and those that will build you up. Leave behind those that will tear you down and bring you to their misery. Happiness is found in true love, love with family and friends that care about your well being, so surround yourself with those that truly love you, and by the looks of it, there are many. I love you Golden and I have always wanted what was best for you, from the time you were a small boy and now is the time for you to have a new beginning to the rest of your life.
Love you,
Your favorite sister,
Sherry
